History of the Congress


The first International Logistics Congress is arranged by the cooperation of LODER (Logistics Association of Turkey), Bahçeşehir University and Robert Morris University in 2003 in Istanbul. Following, the second International Logistics Congress was held in Izmir on December 2-3, 2004 by the cooperation of Dokuz Eylül University School of Maritime Business and Management (SMBM), LODER (Logistics Association of Turkey) and Cass Business School City University. In 2005, the 3rd International Logistics and Supply Chain Congress was organized jointly by the Galatasaray University, Logistics Association and the University of Paris 1-Sorbonne. The congress was held in Istanbul, Turkey, on 23-24 November 2005. The 4th International Logistics and Supply Chain Congress was held in Izmir by the cooperation of Izmir University of Economics, LODER, Hungary Miskolc University and Serbia-Montenegro Belgrade University.
